Native to the rain forests of Cental and South America, Blue Star features formidable, blue-green fronds that are unlike the segmented, delicate-looking leaves typically found on other ferns. Its broad, somewhat wavy fronds grow 1-2' long and emerge on thin petioles, or leaf stalks. Fronds do not flower. This low-maintenance houseplant performs best in the medium light levels found in most rooms. Don't place this plant in south-facing windows, and keep it out of direct sunlight to help prevent leaves from browning. More tolerant of low humidity than most ferns. Soil should be kept moist but not allowed to become soggy. Phlebodium aureum.

Most orders are shipped from our warehouse and are delivered within 7-10 working days from the order date. If the item is not available, we will promptly notify you. Items ordered together are not always shipped together, or depending upon availability, on the same date. Please allow extra delivery time for backordered items. Backordered items will be shipped automatically at no extra cost to you. Shipping rates are determined on the total product value of your order. $4.99 will be added for each additional shipping address.

We'll deliver most items within 3-4 business days from receipt of your order to any UPS shippable address within the 48 contiguous states. $7.99 will be added to regular shipping and handling charges for optional Upgraded Shipping.
