Pictures don't really do justice for this beautiful flower. The saucer sized blossom has spear shaped petals that are a blend of red, white and dark pink. Very bold colors. The bulb arrived in a filled pot nested in a bed of brown spanish moss in a box with holes in it. I repotted it in indoor potting soil in a smaller pot that has a hole in the bottom for drainage. I placed in my kitchen window that faces West. It took about a week (maybe less) to see growth and about a month for it to flower. Nice strong stalk and healthy bulb. I enjoy seeing this every morning when I'm drinking my coffee. Would be a great gift for the fellow flower lover- low maintenance.
