The hyacinths bloomed first. One was the "beetroot" color of 'Woodstock,' one was dark blue and one was a lavender-tinged pink. It wasn't 'Aida,' but it was still pretty. The 'Blue Shades' anemones bloomed nicely, also. Then the indoor bulb garden went outside because a family member found the hyacinth fragrance too strong for her. Personally, I found it very pleasant. I took the bulb garden out of the metal pot and left it in the growers' pot, in an area fenced off from herbivores. The tulips bloomed just fine in their vivid colors. They were, of course, not at all bothered by nights when the temperature went down to 40 degrees F. I replanted the 'Blue Shades' anemones in a smaller pot by themselves, and will replant the tulip and hyacinth bulbs in the ground outside.
