Grown in orchards for over 100 years, Golden Delicious is an American classic with tangy-sweet flavor and a touch of spice. It's a favorite for fresh eating and cooking, but its biggest claim to fame may be its ability to self-pollinate. While most apple trees need an apple "partner" of another variety in order to bear fruit, Golden Delicious can do the job all on its own.

Easy to Plant! All Reachables trees ship as dormant bareroot plants, arriving in their natural resting state. Packed with nutrients and energy, your tree will reawaken and resume growing after being planted in your beautiful garden. Bareroot plants establish more quickly and are less likely to suffer from dehydration once in the ground compared with potted plants. Your Reachables tree should bear a small fruit crop in under two years and larger crops in subsequent years. Winter hardy in zones 4-7.
