Ascending their sturdy, stalk-supporting ladders, these three beloved holiday characters make sure your amaryllis stems stay straight and strong. Select from Santa with his sack of toys, a heavenly Angel, our industrious Elf, or candy cane-wielding Gingerbread Man.
Once it starts, your amaryllis can grow up to an inch a day. Conveniently, ladder rungs are also 1" apart so you can move your cute characters up and up to mark each day's growth. Characters are made of hand-painted resin. Santa's ladder is coal black, while our Angel, Elf and Gingerbread Man climb shiny silver ladders. EXCLUSIVE. The ladder is two pieces that connect; the character (I got the elf) hangs precariously and, within 5 minutes, fell to the floor and broke. The ladder came apart too easily as well. Would not recommend.

The ladder is way too short for the plant! And the gingerbread character broke when falling on a carpeted floor. Very disappointing!
Climbing to new heights

I always order amaryllis plants for friends, relatives, and for me for Christmas blooms. This year I got three white-flowering bulbs with the climbing elves. The bulbs were prolific and beautiful, and everyone who saw them loved the climbing elves. I plan to order more next fall.

I sent a few of these to relatives, along with amaryllis and they loved them! I also bought one myself, I wish I could post a picture. I am not sure why some people were confused and thought this came with a plant, as the description calls it a Stake, not a plant with stake. Either way, I am happy with my purchase.

For the price, I assumed this came with a bulb and I had a choice of which ladder I wanted. Not the case - just a $5 ladder to attach to a separately purchased bulb. Lesson learned - read the ad more carefully - and ignore the picture of the bulb.

This is only the latter stakes. Very misleading to be so expensive & the same price as the plant would usually cost. Have a feeling alot of people will be unhappy once it gets there with nothing to put it on. It should not be shown with a flower if that's the case. Many companies are trying to trick consumers this year due to shopping online even more so than usual because of Covid. Shameful, because it's a hassle to return things, so they are still winning with this manipulation... If this is not a ploy, then they should read this & change how they are advertising this item so it makes it more clear what actually your buying.

Theses sakes are shipped with the character and ring securely wrapped separately and are bigger than I thought. The ladder comes in 2 pieces you have to assemble, which was difficult until I put some WD40 on the ends of one piece that you have to insert into the other piece. Aside from that, nice item!
