A standout for its stunning size and colouring
The almost fully double blooms of this special variety are lush, large and gorgeous! The funnel-shaped flowers rest securely within big perianths and reach an amazing 8–9" in diameter. Richly textured blooms are coral with red undertones, white streaks and small white edges. Each plant yields one or two stems measuring 18–24" at maturity. You can expect 2–3 of these dramatic, richly coloured blooms per stem. When forced indoors, it brightens any wintertime décor. Given proper care, amaryllis bulbs can be forced year after year. Ships as a 26–28 cm bulb.

Wow, am I ever impressed with Sunshine Nymph amaryllis! I ordered just the plain bulb and was late in planting it. Nonetheless, the bud that emerged from the bulb was huge. The four flowers that opened from it are lovely (I think the flowers are a little darker orange than the photo in the catalog). That may be the only flower stalk it has since I can only see leaves emerging from the bulb now.

Never bloomed as bulb was rotted. Return and credit obtained easily enough. Disappointed the credit can only be used at Brecks Gifts site rather than Brecks. Brecks Gifts usually has many items marked "sold out" so choices are few. 30+ years as a Brecks customer.
